So, we commissioned a survey* in May 2021 and asked renters which amenities they looked for when searching for apartments. So, as you create your marketing plan, or even prioritize community upgrades or improvements, you’ll have this data at your fingertips.
Survey respondents ranked the following amenities the highest. It seems the tried-and-true conveniences are still in hot demand.
On the flipside, they ranked these as the least important. While nice to have, these didn’t seem to entice respondents as much.
- Bike repair center
- Pet grooming
- Car wash center
- Media/game rooms
- Bike storage
